It was delicious but not sure if I would spend $20 again on their breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was smaller than I expected. Everyone working was super friendly. Overall if you have the money to indulge in a bougie burrito, give this a try.

How can one place be pretty yummy and overrated at the same time? It's definitely a pretty good breakfast burrito but some would have you believe this is the alpha and omega of burritos and that it is not. Worth a trip but only if you can avoid the line.

The BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO IN LA. This place is amazing, they use the highest quality of ingredients and it really shows. I had ordered the sweet onion bagel, bacon burrito and orange juice. The Bagel was so warm and crispy yet so fluffy inside. The bacon burrito with the tater tots was SO GOOD especially with the avocado sauce. The orange juice was so sweet and freshly juiced. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the dirty matcha, it was way too bitter. The location also had a lot of homeless people in the area so I would be aware of your surroundings. This place is so delicious and love that they use regenerative farming. Thank you Bruce for the great hospitality. Hopefully you guys can open up more locations in the future!

This review is for the downtown location. Given all the hype, I was totally expecting to be underwhelmed. Instead, I was very happily impressed. Is it in a bad area? Yep. It's right on the border of Skid Row. Believe it or not, Skid Row residents are allowed to leave their neighborhood and vice versa. There is no moat keeping them out. Just be aware of your surroundings and you should be fine. Street parking is just about nonexistent. There is some here and there and some pay lots and those are your not-so great choices. The burritos are not gigantic but they are not tiny, either. They are packed full and very dense and filling. Your choices are bacon, steak, and vegetarian. That's it. The bacon burrito is much better than the steak one. Both are very, very good but the bacon is better. They are absolute flavor (and belly) bombs. Don't sleep on the bagels. They are made in house and they are incredibly fresh and delicious. The scallion cream cheese is good but the honeycomb butter is amazing and may change your life. I do not have a sweet tooth and I would walk five miles for this stuff. Get it. Our server (at the ordering window) was over the top wonderful. He explained the menu and the beautiful ingredients they use in their foods (thus, the high prices) and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. There is no seating, inside or out. You order at the window and take your food wherever. Excellent burritos, wonderful service, fantastic bagels.
